I got to play during the PC beta(I don't think it was even a month long...). My final thoughts were basically that the balance was horrid, the optimization was horrible, and without some changes, GCI would not survive long It did not surprise me when the game was re-launched as F2P 6 months after the pay-for was launched. It did not surprise me to find out people who'd returned to the F2P version were screwed out of some of the DLC they'd bought during the pay-for version Good idea of a game, absolute idiots behind it
hah you can't complain for a game thats 1200 on sale for 600. Sure its free on pc but im betting no one is playing it theres still a fan base on the 360
id be mad if i watched that stuff every day maybe they ran out of things to complain about on the pc board?
You know console gamers have thrown that argument around a few times, and there's two reasons for it: 1) A larger and wider array of people play on console. 2) They're less picky/more accepting of mediocrity.
Day 1 of launch or Day 1 of the F2P update? The F2P update did wonders for me. (Played off-and-on since Beta. Monolith doesn't know how to listen to testers.) You'd lose that bet hard. Truth. It's fun to stomp around in on occasion though.
