So everything I'm playing at the moment have pretty much ran their course and I haven't seen a single interesting title recently. Some suggestions would be nice, especially single player games with good storylines.

Personally i'm in the same boat, i was waiting for GTA 5 to be announced on PC, but it has not and the time for it's release is coming in fast so i'm slightly worried on that part.

Waiting for Mirrors Edge 2 and watchdog, but again this is all waiting and i have nothing to really play in the mean time.

Tried starting Quake live, found it pretty fun but it's something i wouldn't spend time on.

Counterstrike is okay to kill some time on, personally for me though i get bored after half an hour or so of playing, it's to repetitive for me.

I'm hoping for something that's sort of competitive to come out that's new and i enjoy to come out with shooter elements or just a plain FPS or TPS.

Osu is a pretty fun free rhythm game if you really don't know what to play though.

I bought xcom enemy unknown and i am enjoying it so far, very good strategy game the only problem is the god damn dlc missions, they are either buggy or just weird in a bad way, considering how unforgivable mistakes are and how long the levels are, it is just painfully annoying. What happened the last time made me just rage quit.

Add me man, we should play sometime (though you'd probably rape me hard because of your aim and because I'm sh1t out of practice) http://www.quakelive.com/#!profile/summary/Pill_ e: and yea play more promode way more fun than slowmode etc etc

grim recently recommended baldur's gate to me when I asked about a good singleplayer time dump, it's pretty old though

Rogue Legacy. This is eating what little free time I have. Rogue like + Castlevania/Ghouls and Goblins? ****in sold.

Loving it. There's even a solid demo.

I got this a long time ago, and only recently started playing through it. I'm a die-hard DX fan, and the changes they made for DXIW and DXHR made me very grumpy. Still, I'm trying to keep an open mind as I play through it, reserving my judgment for when I finish.

However, I won't hesitate to say that JC beats Adam's butt all over the place.

To add to the other recommendations, I suggest Battle for Wesnoth if you're into turn-based strategy games. It's very polished for a free game, and the campaigns are quite interesting. (Graphics aren't fancy, of course, but it still looks very nice.)

Also, the two Witcher games, if you haven't already played them.

Rouge Legacy is alright, worth the money but nothing I'd get overly hyped on.

Some games I've played recently that aren't exactly new but are worth looking into.

Fez. Blew my mind and I'm not even all the way through it. Not really super duper hard, but it made me go wooooaaaaah without being high. I'd recommend it if you're not the type that hates the dude who made it.

They Bleed Pixels was surprisingly tons of fun. Very short(7-12 hours), but fun. It was the MNC kind of fun where you'd have SO MUCH FUN playing you'd have to stop after a map rotation and a half because otherwise your heart would explode. Nothing like MNC, but the fun felt the same.

Brogue. The best rougelike I've ever played. I'm not gonna say I've played many, but it's insanely fun once you realize you can use the mouse.

And if you're looking for good storyline... Monster Girl Quest or Kamidori Alchemy Meister. 10/10 for both.

Spec Ops: The Line is, IMO, a must-play for anyone even remotely slightly okay with the idea of playing shooters. It's one hell of screwed up psychological ride.

Brogue is a good intro-to-roguelikes game, and it looks quite nice too. But after you get used to the game, it feels a bit limited and boring. If you do get into the game and eventually reach that point, I can recommend two excellent roguelikes:

Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup is an amazing traditional roguelike that's a bit more fair than others in that it requires less spoilers to do well in. The gameplay is deep, and the tile graphics are pretty decent.

Tales of Maj'Eyal or ToME is less traditional, with a bigger focus on tactical combat. The graphics are very nice, but it doesn't really have a true ascii mode for those that like it. It also has a decent enough story.

Good choices! The first is a bit old and is slow to get into at first, but once you get rolling (and get some skills), it's a blast.
The second is awesome through and through. But challenging. :D

Well from what Quake i've seen i really like the duel mode, i have no idea how to actually find duel games though - the navigation for the site is a bit odd.
