Im trying to start a sandbox game, but it keeps saying waiting for players to join. Since there is only AI and no human players, it leads me to think that this means my AI is controlled by PA servers. Is that correct? Its been over 10 minutes and i still cant start the game due to a slow connection, if my thinking is right.
I doubt that your problem with starting game related to AI anyhow. At this point (this is very early alpha) AI not doing anything in the game, it's only have ~10 units which not moving. If you think that your connection are slow please post information about that, so other players might say is it true or not. You might check your connection speed on speedtest.net. Anyway you need to try restart client/game and than it probably will work.
