I have this special talent that allows me to play multiple games over a short period of time. A few weeks here, a few weeks there.
Until recently, I had no idea that Brink was garnering as much interest/attention as it apparently is. As of now, I'll be holding out and sticking with MNC. Too many other things to play before I get to Brink...if ever.
TGO23, do you play the Gears3 Beta? I could have sworn I played with and against you a couple days ago. Then again all I remember is "TheGreatOne" so it could have been anyone.
I don't see why Brink is so popular. All it has going is S.M.A.R.T and since the game isn't released yet, nobody knows how well it will work.
Honestly S.M.A.R.T and the immense amount of character customization is the only thing Brink really has going for it that's "new." The way the game plays and such is just like Splash Damage's games in the past. So really I honestly have no clue why it is as hyped as it is. I remember telling people about the game a few years ago and they thought it was nothing special. Now they think it's a revolutionary game, at which it is, just not in the groundbreaking scheme of things. More like in the refined aspect. It could be that their, Splash Damage, past games were more of an open world game with fairly huge maps and Brink has brought it down to a CQC sort of game. The objective has always been their main point of their games, ever since their start-up as Quake/Unreal mods.
Im playing it for sure, the games based on teamwork and has my favorite sport in it, which is parkour. The new stuff is what brings games beyond other games, just like Activision tried to do with their cod games every time one came out. If it wasnt new gun looks and sounds, it was new customization techniques that got everyone hyped for it. Its how people look at game unfortunately :/ but I on the other hand love the objective layout and teamwork in the game. I will playing this game because it will take skill and teamwork like MNC did but this time this game has a lot more to offer rather than acouple maps and 6 characters that you cant really customize to different yourself from others...
Its gonna be popular as this year(so far) has been dry for games, so everyone will get it for something new.
I'll be playing both. Simultaneously. Because I'm hardcore MLG pro. My TurtleBeach headphones automatically make me MLG. Now excuse me while I go and consume copious amounts of energy drinks more than my guided daily amount and berate mother dearest for more "hot-pockets".
No way. That is impossible. I have seen people jump off 60 foot buildings and roll when they hit the ground, and not have a single injury from it... but playing multiple games is just impossible, you can't possibly do that. Lol. Too bad MNC wasn't made in the early-late 90s. People wouldn't be so bandwagon newfag.
