Yeah. Anyone got any suggestions? I'm planning on doing some personal shopping tomorrow, at the moment the only bargain bin games I can think of that I'm truly interested in are Jericho(yes that odd game that continually jumps back and forth between genius and trainwreck) and Bayonetta.

Yeah I WISH that was on 360 Jack.

Here are a few I think are at least worth looking into:
Alpha Protocol - A very underrated game
Bionic Commando (Retail not Xbla) - Awesome underrated game.
Way of the Samurai 3 - A very unique game
Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood - Great single player experience

    Also, Jericho is godawful.

The Darkness - FPS shooter based on the comic. I paid 15 euro for it over a year ago, and it was pretty sweet!

Prototype - ugly as hell and a lot of unnecessary gore, but worth a play to invoke memories of Spider-Man 2 for the PS2.

I'm pretty sure you mean The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.

Im assuming you played it already but if not, Oblivion went down in price lately...probably bargain bin material and an amazing game

If you can get used to the controls I really got to love Too Human - took me a bit to get to like it tho

Dead space was decent, but MNC sidetracked me and I havent played much else

Loved the demo of Call of Juraz but never liked the full game

Other obvious ones if you havet tried are Mass Effect 1 (Alpha Protocal that was mentioned earlier is supposed to be somewhat similar) and Left For Dead 1/2

    +1

I think Tom and I picked that one up for 12 bucks about a year ago and we keep coming back to it.

I never finished The Darkness... I got to some part with a giant train (I think) and then I had exams or something and forgot about it. I thought the characters were pretty bad and the whole thing made me cringe a little - like Prey

Picked up Star Ocean 4 (Last Hope) a while ago for $30.

Easily one of the best RPGs I have ever played in my entire gaming career. Note: The game has a 30 MINUTE NONSTOP CUTSCENE along with plenty of 5-15 minute cutscenes. It's awesome. The story and plot is great. All the characters are very 3D - you get really involved with them and their personalities.

The battle system is just awesome and I see no flaw with it. Easily a 100+ hours logged game.

Thanks for the recommendations folks, it's appreciated :)

And Ian guy...Finish the Darkness. The campaign is pretty fun, especially once you acquire to black hole power  Well honestly the best part of the gameplay is in the finale, wherein you've got full darkness powers and you have a shipload of mooks to deal with; all of whom know about your powers and yet aren't keen on surrendering anyways. Well, more mooks to slaughter is always a good thing

You can tear your enemies hearts out and feed them to the slavering monsters attached to your shoulders - I rest my case.

I think I did all right with my shopping run :D

    Jericho
    Brutal Legend
    The Darkness
Dienasty Warriors Strikeforce(yay for moar co-op!)
    Soulcalibur IV
Dark Sector(guy at GameSwap threw it in for free: it's probably the crappiest game mentioned in this topic  )
    Devil May Cry 4

Not to mention the kickass soundtrack by Gustav Grefberg(did I spell that right?), the Darklings with their crazy awesome vocals(note the berserker Darkling voiced by none other than frickin' Richard Horvitz!, the crazy intense emotional torque the game miraculously pulls when it wants to, the Darkness itself having crazy awesome vocals and...Well, if the campaign was longer and the "free roam" segments that involve subways weren't so numerous it'd be damn near a perfect single player experience :D

Multiplayer not so much though. I've never even tried searching for or hosting a game because of course there'd be no players :|

EDIT: As a rule of thumb, typos in URL fields are bad.

Ehh, I couldn't really get into that game. Have you played Magnacarta 2? I freaking loved that game but never got to finish it (brother returned it) That's one of the game on my want list. I had like at least 20+ hours into it.

HOW DID I FORGET CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK: BUTCHER BAY THAT GAME IS AMAZING

I'm glad you enjoyed The Darkness - nobody plays it online unfortunately. It also has one of the sweetest romantic moments I've ever seen in a videogame. Y'know, to contrast the "Gothic Mafioso eats mooks with shoulder-snakes" vide.
