I've noticed that when I have Gold Accuracy on my Assault, aiming down the sights makes the assault rifle do less damage. Has anybody else seen this or is it just me? Could anybody explain to me why this is so.

its just you. aiming down sights should increase the damage because it lengthens the damage drop off arc.

You sure? Feels like it only decreases the spread.

It only tightens the spread of bullets.

Does not do more damage but the range for the damage fall off is less. It does decrease the spread greatly.

Can't remember how it was on Xbox, but on PC aiming will increase the range.

I'm pretty sure that aiming down sight increases damage and critical shot chnace too.
