The overlay in this video is amazing, is there an eta for its implementation?

Well, given that the Overlay displayed is for Galactic war.....I'd say it'll be implement at the same time as or oafter Galactic War is.

Galactic War will be released when the Galactic War is Ready.

Well that's the answer, take it or leave it. Uber rarely gives any kind of date or time frame for ANYTHING until they are very very confident in it. so until then all we know is that it'll be ready when it is.

Just look for questions like yours in the Live Stream Index and you'll find the answer often is "When it's ready" directly from Uber.

We have no hard release dates for the game or any any specific features whilst in beta.
Uber seems to follow the PR rule of Under promise, over deliver. It's a really smart one.
You'll learn about it when they are ready to talk about it.
And as for releases, It comes when it comes.

Do you partake in Humble Bundles and Steam Summer/Winter sales?
If so, then you probably have a massive backlog of games like me.
So go play those for now....
