Snipers can snipe through the glass when pressed directly up against it.

The 'alternate-control' graphical menu in the options screen, reload is labeled wrong.

You can take the Money Ball Shields down without bots, did it with a gunner, and an assassin's shuriken (What's the point of bots then?).

MatchMaking is busted, can't find a game / not get split up with a party of 6 very easily. (Best solution, so far is at 35 seconds veto the map, seems to work at filling open spots more steadily)

Graphical Glitches: Jet pack on Tanks stays on when walking (occasionally), burning animations of victims can retain to where you look like you're always on fire (occasionally).

To make the leader boards for blitz rounds you can just keep trying to join session in progress on the top players. That is what players ranked 3 & 4 ( on 8/14/2010 9 pm CST) did.

--- There are things I could suggest for improvement but that isn't the point of the thread, just to notify of known glitches, please don't post complaints / balance commentaries on this thread. P.S. Love the game, great fun. ---

These are all known glitches. Please post in an existing thread rather than making another.

Judging by your response you sound like some type of moderator here, so a few things:

    1) speaking as a programmer, some of the glitches / match making issues are ridiculous, however I take it with a grain of salt it's an arcade title and I like games that aren't tested to death, but it is still silly that it got past pre-prodcution state in that condition. (Time line crunch from developer?)

    2) As someone who does graphic arts in most of the major programs, the control graphic mistake, because that's really what that is, is poor communication between the artist and the developers.

    3) As a patron who purchased the title, love the game, glad you made it, but the match making really is busted and frustrating.

    4) And finally, as someone who used to be in web development, if you really want people to read your little "known problems" thread, it must be labeled clearly and be locked at the top of the thread. So post your snarky replies all you want, but your lack of a proper naming convention / and or ability to lock that thread, does not induce in me the urgency to read every thread ever posted in your forums in order for me to make sure I'm not replicating your data. My job isn't to make sure your threads are in order, my job is to try to find the quickest thread that looks pertinent to the subject matter and post my comment.

    Appreciate the feedback though.

--- Edit --- Or you're a wannabe moderator, which im sure they don't mind I doubt they have a huge forums staff.

Nope, just a contributing forum member.

Once the title hit gold, they actually pulled it themselves as they found some bugs. It had to then be re-certified. As of now there are many minor bugs and I think it's odd you don't think it's not fit to have gotten past certification. It's not like they just said "just screw it we don't have enough time push it through". However, there were features that were cut due to time and/or game size related issues.

I don't even know what your referring to...could you elaborate?

What part do you think is busted?

There is no "official" known bugs thread, but all it takes is a little initiative on your part to maybe use the search function (I know! Crazy idea right?).

    I'm neither this.

well if want my opinion on what parts are busted I would say the "hey lets make teams fair so bust up the party and put some of their friends on the opposite team" idea .... for starters, if they can't find anyone to play they should just keep it open and refreshing until they can, and launch when they can get a = or +/- 1 minimum, ie 4 v 3 or 6 v 5, they have atleast a 60,000 install base they have the people to do such a thing. They don't need to launch the game because a timer said they waited too long for a game and then break up the party. Also if in mid-game it migrates host, the next lobby your team gets split as well. No one wants to go in with their friends only to have their friends not be on their team, or if so, very few do. That is busted.

The games are designed to not start unless there are at least 8 players. The reason you and your friends get split up is because the teams are not balanced. The timer doesn't dictate that a game needs to start. As soon as there are enough players, the game will begin a shorter countdown, and if at the end of the count down the teams aren't balanced (i.e. your party has six people and there are a total of 9 people in the lobby) then people will get split up. It's very easy to just back out if that isn't suitable for you guys. Yes they have a very large user base, but they had no idea how it would sell and they had to design the lobby keeping in mind they may only have say 300 people playing it. As to the mid-game migration thing, yes this occasionally happens, but as I stated if it's not acceptable, just back out and get another game started.

There are a lot of issues that will be addressed in the coming weeks, so stay tuned and hopefully there will be changes to your liking. Are there any other questions you may have?

    --- Edit ---

Out of respect for the work you have done I will retract my personal statements to your responses, I disagree with your assessment and always will. As an associate producer I would suggest you shouldn't build anything expecting only 300 users to play it, but that's up to you. I love the game and am glad you made it, I was speaking to you on the issue of you being a well informed fan-boy, instead you are more involved than that.

We will have to agree to disagree, you shouldn't get so hot under the collar about people trying to inform you of glitches, you should actually have a sticky about glitches at the top, searching all of the key terms to make sure it's not there isn't a smart idea. But you did very well with the constraints xbl puts on developers and requirements for pricing, size, and DLC futures. There are about 10 more glitches not posted here that my groups has become aware of, but we will just let you find them I guess since we don't exploit glitches and don't want others too. Seeing as how our group map monkeyed halo 2 and found some of their more famous glitches, one of the guys friends who was in the game with us posted superbounces and tank shots on youtube, our finds are generally pertinent to the game.

But since you are involved I would ask that you please fix the supports looking down over a ledge and throwing a turret glitch, since the cool down runs but the turret doesn't place. I replicated it 6 times in a row at different positions.

That's the only one I really hate.

I think L3git did a rather nice job of answering the issue you brought up. But it's obvious you'd rather have:

The game has been out less than a week, we have had discussions of many bugs: graphical, audible, skills, turrets, bots, etc. When pointed to the threads where these very issues are brought up, you took it personally -- and I assure you, it wasn't a personal attack. Of course, developers dont INTEND on having 300 people play it. That was an exaggerated comment. They build it with hopes that (wait for it) OVER 9000!! people play it. (I couldnt resist).

Rather than keep arguing because we KNOW the game has issues, let's let the development team address them as they will and if any more issues pop up, we all know where to discuss them ;)

    NONSENSE!

In all seriousness, Toxn, the developers appreciate the knowledge. We forum goers get a bit touchy (Me, usually more than others) when duplicate threads are made. :p

Search is great and all but sometimes it can be nearly impossible to find an exact topic you're trying to discuss.
