Should the Hitpoints of every (most) unit(s) in the game be raised in order to have longer battles?
People seem to feel that the units are too "popcorny". And they seem to refer to how it has been in TA.

Do you vote with yes or no?

These units die more quickly then those in TA o_O and with all the SC2 players needing a fix for more RTS games, I dont see any real outrage to making everything with more health, just not to much

Too popcorny? You mean like this?

    https://forums.uberent.com/threads/t1-units-way-to-popcorny.58601/

You had to have seen that on the way into the subforum to click the new topic button.

Anyway, if you increase the health, units will start to pyle up too fast or be able to walk into bases even under attack. If this was the case, you would have to reduce units by increasing costs. That lowers the macro scale part of the game.

If the health of most units, especially the standard and cheap units, are low, you can build more numbers of them, and even though they die, you can just build hundreds a minute. So they become something you "spend" during an attack. They die as fast as produced, no need to limit their numbers.

Some units escape this a bit, like infernos, combat fabbers, vanguards, often t2 structures although I don't specifically encourage this, walls, turrets which should be sturdy but still follow the more-numbers more-expendable popcorny model...

I voted no in light of my feelings above. General balance is fair game to adjust everywhere, but not universally all units hp buff. Not more than each unit surviving one additional shot. In comparison to this game, games like Red Alert require sustained fire by units on units to get kills, but you only build 5-25 in one setting usually. 4x more units in this game, 1/4th the health per unit.

There are Units with already enough Health.
if you would gave all the "Cheap" units more health it would be unbalanced.

i think they gave them on purpose this low anmount of live...because when not why didnĀ“t they changed that already?

Yeah especially the vanguard needs more health! :D

Seriously I dunno. I feel it isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. At least for ground. Air units basically are paper fliers equipped with high explosive aoe weapons. Fights basically end the moment they begin.
