When you set you keyboard layout to German you can usually type an @ by AltGr+Q but that is not generating an @ while registration for ubernet where an email address is mandatory. Maybe this issue is related to the AltGr key as it works when you set your keyboard to english layout.
This is a known issue that the team will be working on. In the meantime, you can copy/paste an @ symbol to create an account.
