So I don't know if any of you are Gears of War fans, but Epic is having another XP event over SDCC weekend, July 23-25. This time, the XP multiplier depends on the number of followers Rod Ferguson, @GearsViking, can muster on Twitter. From the time of his announcement to the time of this post, his number of followers has nearly TRIPLED! He recently posted that the cut-off will be at 20x XP, yes 20 times the normal accrual rate of XP! He's currently only about 300 followers short of making the 20x mark so if you have nothing better to do please log onto twitter and follow @GearsViking. I don't think GoW 1 had an XP system did it? I never played it online much but didn't notice and lvling or anything.
