These things are sooooo cooool. I mean, there's like a million different designs/skins/face plates for it and it's so sleek and portable. Also GBA games are dirt cheap, I saw Final Fantasy 6 (GBA) for a buck at a Mom and Pop game store. I was wondering how rare Micros have become, can I still pretty much find them at any Gamestop? Also what are some good GBA games, I could only come up with Golden Sun, Metal Slug Advanced, Fire Emblem, Castlevania and Pokemon. I really don't know what else I want.
rayman was cool, metroid prime was awesome, and there were a plethora of NES mario games available as well.
Be sure to pick up: - Astro Boy: The Omega Factor (Portable GOTY '04, pretty much) - Gunstar Super Heroes - Metroid Fusion - Metroid: Zero Mission - Final Fantasy V Advance (best portable port of a FF game you can find) - Both Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation games (beats the pants off of FFTA as far as SRPGs go; good luck finding them)
As for buying a micro at Gamestop, I doubt you could. I've never known Gamestop to hold a huge used/outdated section, so you would most likely be better off going to a used store or e-bay. I'm not a huge fan of the micro myself. I like my pokemon r/b/y and g/s/c way too much to give up the backwards compatibility. As for games Why have the Super Mario Advanced games not been mentioned? Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga was a fun, lighthearted RPG. Kirby:Nightmare in Dreamland was also fun, if a bit on the easy side. Harvest Moon:Friends of Mineral Town, and MFoMT were both good. I will never understand how a game about FARMING can get so addicting, but it is. LoZ games. Reliable(if a bit predictable) series there. Everything else I can think of has been stated.
