As the Planetary Annihilation Kickstarter moves into its final week, I'm looking for a reason to raise my pledge from its current level, but unfortunately none of the higher tiers really seem to have anything enticing enough to put out another $40 that I can't really justify. However, I see that the $100 tier comes with the gamebox, which is the one thing at that level I'd really like to get, since seeing the game sitting on my shelf would be a really nice thing, a permanent and tangible testament to the contribution I've made to bringing this game to reality. Personally, I'm willing to put down another $10 to $20 on top of my current pledge for that privilege. What do the other forum-goers think?
I think the additional cost burden of manufacturing, handling, and shipping a box is worth more than $20. Hence the reason why a bunch of physical items are rolled in to one tier.
I'm at 50, and I can't really justify going to 90. And I'm not really interested in physical stuff, either. However, if they were to do something digital for, say, 60-65, I would bump up, totally.
I'd like some value for that increase, and being able to get the gamebox without having to go all the way to the $100 level is the main thing I'd like.
