So I've just downloaded Planetary Annihilation, but it doesn't seem to work (properly). I've checked other threads and contacted support from both Steam and UberEnt, but no solution yet. I try to start it up from Steam and it will go to 'preparing for launch' but then does nothing. When I try to start it from the standalone nothing happens aswell. I hoped someone new what to do or had similar problems. I've added my DxDiag as what was advised by support but nothing seemed to wrong with that. Also I coulnd't find any crash files either. Can anyone help? Please :3? I don't want to have to refund this game and it seems really worthwhile.
Can you please open directory where non-Stream version installed, then open "PA" sub-directory, then "bin_x64" and start PA.exe from here? Is there some error appear if executable started this way? Also can you please check this how-to and upload your log file (if you have one of course)? http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/2/648814845443326834/
I've done as you said but still nothing happens, or well, my cursor shows it's loading but nothing else. After a few seconds everything is as it was and my cursor isn't showing any loading anymore. Where could I find the log file?
Try to install the game again from scrap, and i believe there is a newer driver for your graphics card. Couldn't find anything else in your dxdiag. Alles zou moeten werken ^^
There was nothing among it of that kind, but I've only gotten the game to start about 4 times, after which it 'crashed' after about 10 minutes.
Try this: 1 - install AMD_Catalyst_13.6_Beta2 and reboot 2 - delete all *d3dx*.dll files from windows\system32 and windows\SysWOW64 3 - install directX Jun2010 4 - launch the game from steam
