So this game used to work perfectly, until the latest update (72332). I now can't even load the game up, all that happens is that my game turns into a black screen, where I can hear the game sounds and see my mouse, and sometimes my friend list, but not any of the game menu things. I can hear my mouse going over them when moving it around, but literally, just black. Please help, this has been happening for a few days now!
Hello, A Dxdiag.txt containing your system information would be very helpful. Have you updated your graphics drivers lately? If you are an Nvidia user, a new driver (344.11) was released just a few days ago. If you are an AMD user, please download the latest beta driver as it solved a few crashing and black screen issues.
First of all check if you have running any streaming software (DxTory, Bandicam, etc) or any system monitoring software that have OSD menus like MSI Afterburner? Those cause such behaviour lately so better to disable/remove them temporary.
Ok thank you for your response. I disabled MSI Afterburner and that seemed to work. I don't know why it makes a difference... but thanks!
