Not to sure if this is where i am suppose to post game ideas. If not sorry for the confusion. Game Concept I have for Planetary Annihilation - Idea 1 - the gas giants There Are Many unique types of planets Lava, Earth, Moon, Metal, Tropical, and Ice, However It lacks Gas Giants. One concept I have for your development team is to introduce gas giants with or without rings each has benefits and uses. start small bases on the rings of a gas giant to mine metal for mass production or build a experimental building which orbits the gas giant and it take a ton of resources but acts as a solar relay allowing you a large comm array to watch over the entire solar system. Idea 2 - Tier 3 construction Tier 1 and 2 allow for a huge range of units and buildings but what about introducing a tier 3 which specializes in one experimental unit for air , bot, and land, or sea final idea - shield generators During Many battles players will build up great defenses huge bases and massive armies. However the lack of any shield building means if a player gets ahold of artillery thier unstoppable. Constant bombardment without any defense to stop means players are decimated within minutes. I have lost numerous times simply because there is no counter for artillery or missles. The addition of shields would equalize that area of the game and allow for a better defense for more diverse gameplay. hope these ideas are considered and i would gladly explain in more detail if you wish : ) thanks if you read this.
I have a strong feeling this is only the start to these type of threads. Gas Giants already confirmed it was a stretch goal during their Kickstarter campaign. Not too sure about the Tier's since I've never played TA or SupCom so someone else will have to answer that. Shields - Search the forums MANY topics on this subject.
1. Has been confirmed as coming to the game. 2. Has been confirmed as not coming to the game. 3. Has been confirmed that giant bubble shields as not coming to the game. Not a lot more needs to be said, @DeadStretch has astutely pointed out that searching the fora would have revealed great tomes of information on this.
