the game freezes mid game then returns me to the main menu, I am playing against AI, most of the time 3-6 of them. all the bots stop and I can still move around the planet I am on for a min or so then it sends me back to the main menu.
No mods I just play it the regular way against AI. It said world simulation ended once or something like that I can't remember
Judging from your specs, the server should be running locally on your computer. So can you post a server log for a session where you had a crash? If the crashing happens often, then the easiest way to find the correct server log is to just delete them all, start a game, make it crash, and then upload the newly created log file.
