game continues to crash before it even starts

I try to start the game but it immediately crashes before i can even see the opening cut scene. whats up with that?

What happen with your sound card drivers? Install sound drivers and most likely game will work.

Game won't start without sound card, check this issue on bugtracker: FS#2227
