I've been reading a lot of the topics on the forum involving the huge battles that will take place in the galactic war. But their was a question I wanted to know. The galaxy is going to be huge in the galactic war but what is the number you will be summing up for the planet generator, for around how many planets will be in the planet generator, in this case the galactic war. Is the number going to completely random or rounded around a big number?

As big as it needs to be. It depends on how long games are, how many players will be in it etc

You see how much RAM in is your PC? That's how big it can be with regards to both how big the galaxy is and the size/number of planets in each system.

Whether or not each particular game you play will be that large or not will be entirely up to you.

Actually, because of the way they structured the client/server architecture of a multiplier games is will probably be the server that defines map size, not the client.

I was assuming a single player game but you are correct.
