It might just be a result of my screen resolution, but when I play Galactic War the bottom-middle and upper-right UI elements cover several of the stars and I can't zoom out far enough to see the entire system. I tried using the arrow keys to pan around, but that didn't have any effect either. This makes it very difficult to ever reach the stars on the upper-right side of the system.
