I've seen this posted in other threads, but I had emailed support a while back and they responded asking me to post my DxDiag here, so here it is. To be clear, this happens when starting a new GW or loading one that I started before (which also caused a blank screen at the time). By "blank" I mean there's the bottom chrome with the friends and alerts button, and the rest of the screen is black. Music plays, mouse moves, but nothing ever happens and I have to alt-F4 to quit. I've tested many other combinations of difficulty, map size, faction, commander model, and loadout, and it's definitely this combination (Synchronous faction, General Commander loadout) that causes the problem.
Hello, Your Dxdiag is fine, so this must be a known issue that the developers are working to address.
