Galactic War Request: Replays

The old Galactic wars get archived, but there's not much we can do with them once we're done. Wouldn't it be cool if we could click on a system and open the replay of a past battle to watch it over again? I know the replays are already being saved so the only additional thing to store on the client is the replay id.
