Hello everbody, first of all, despite the bugs I think that this game delivers an enjoyable experience already and I'm glad to be able to have bought the early-access and play the beta. With that out of the way, here is my suggestion: I know that the Galactic-War is a confirmed feature. What bothers me, is that it is only ment to replace the single-player campaign. I think everyone is eager to see what the "event" matches with 40+ players will turn out to be like. But why not combine those two things, and create a persistent universe accessable through a multiplayer experience? You could jump in an already ongoing battle with real players, gather your friends and/or clan, and try to conquer the galaxy. Maybe performance would be an issue, because it would be a battle between thousands, and not 40 people. One way of solving that would be to use the galaxy map as an imaginary strategic overlay, and limit games to one solar system only. Then you'd basically have those 40 player event matches with some kind of means attached to it, because you would actually be fighting over something. And imho, I think that this wouldn't even be so hard to implement. Uber is working on the single-player version of galactic war already (or will be in the near future), so it isn't that far fetched to just add a multiplayer part for it. Greetings
