Is there any "Uber"design/concept where they want to take it in the end or is this all and only some balancing will now happen?

Because it it is a fantastic design/feature totally in the right direction but not far enough. It shows a lot of potential (different challenges each time) and I would like to add some thoughts but don't know if I'm going to far.

What I'm thinking is missing is some excitement on the meta layer/galatic layer what would be if the AI does not only wait/react to you but also acts and attack the players systems. Instead the AI defends planet against you, you have to defend your conquered system.

This would maybe be possible via some turnbased galactic layer where at the end of the round/turn all battle will be fought out, meaning first you fight for the system you wish to conquer and after that defend the system the AI wants to attack...but this may come with further thoughts for some global economy...

So question is what is Uber aiming for with the galatic war...exactly what it is now and some balancing coming in the next patches or much more as we have right now?

The game isn't finished. Far from finished.

There's still lots of balancing to be done, and lots of features that haven't been implemented yet.

The AI is far from done as well.

This is also the first pass of the Galactic War. There's still lots to be done.

We don't know all of the details as Uber doesn't release everything.

Just know that the balance is far from done, and the full features are far from done.

It's "early access" for a reason.
