    Hi PA Forum
Long time reader first time poster

I've come across a really annoying bug on GW playing standard PA (Titan's not purchased)
It's happened a couple times but most often when I have the sub commander card/perk.

Basically the only spawn point on the map will be TINY!
As seen in the picture below.
However even when you select / find the spawn area and click Start, the sub commander takes priority leaving you in spectator mode all be it with a countdown for launch

Edit: Seems I cannot post my picture being a first time poster ... HANDY!

I'm going to see if my sub commander can win the current game, otherwise I've lost another Galactic War Campaign to this bug :(

    Am I alone with this?
Any chance of a fix for a non Titan client?

I'll likely end up getting Titans but I was a little bit peeved that small gameplay changes were not added to the original.
e.g: I still need deep space radar, planet smashing doesn't destroy the planet, no playable tutorial.

    Hello.

Planet smashing instantly destroying other planets regardless of size, along with asteroids, was a feature added before the release of PA:Titans. If you are getting craters, you are probably using an older or, uhh, a less pleasant version that won't be detailed.

The tutorial at Titans involves Titans themselves so a port is not possible on that regard. You still need Deep Space Radar as it was removed to account for the various changes in PA:Titans that were not done for PA itself, namely in the addition of new units and expanded orbital mechanics. Since the original PA only received the balance changes and miscellaneous improvements, removing the Deep Space Radar would have been pretty unnecessary, changing the gameplay to account for changes not made in that version.

As for your issue, I personally never encountered this problem but I believe you'll have better luck in the support sub-forums. If this is an issue that can be re-created I am sure it will be patched at some point as it doesn't sound like the kind of thing that would be left alone in PA while fixed for PA:T.

Thanks for your fast reply :)

It cleared up alot of things & maybe I'm going made regarding the planet smashing.
I can't replicate the sub com bug on demand, but this is the third time is has happened.

    I'll delete and start again.

    Thanks for the response
