So, after a few months of not playing PA, I decide to pick it back up again, because it has a single player mode, now! And then I play the single-player mode, get tech for airplanes, and bots, and ships... and then I can't build any of those things. None of the build menus have any options for building any of the factories or defense buildings that I should have with upgraded tech. What's the problem?
I get that. I unlocked the tech, by visiting other planets, and I start a battle on a planet, and can't use any of the tech I've found on other planets. I'm sorry if I didn't explain it well enough.
I might have discovered the problem. Do you have to have "basic (X) tech" before the "advanced (X) tech" does anything?
Yeah. If the tech says you get the advanced tech, but not the basic tech, you can't use it. There are some techs that say "complete tech" though, and for those you get basic and advanced.
