Friendly Privates Tonight

Hey guys. I am trying to organize some private, competitive-style play tonight.

Games will be for fun, and not taken seriously, although I do still encourage everybody to "try-hard" and play as well as they can.

Stipulations:

1) It's okay if you have never played privates before. If you don't think you are good enough or are unsure, at least come try and see how you do. Worst thing that could happen is you see some areas you need to improve or learn a few new things from people way better than you.

2) If you are inexperienced to privates, be prepared to take some constructive criticism. Nobody will be a **** to you and tell you how much you suck; but they will point out what you are doing wrong, and tell you how to fix it. Don't argue with them; they are right.

3) Have fun and don't be a rager.

4) Have a mic. Nobody wants to play with you if you can't talk. Sorry, but competitives require communication.

5) Don't be a ****. Kinda goes with 2. If you are a veteran of privates, don't be douchey to newer players. Private matches will never expand beyond the few players that already exist on them unless we start teaching some of the more skilled pub level players how to play.

i would like to take this and expand upon it. i would love to get privates going daily so this game goes out with a bang for me. add either me or the OP if you want in.

MY stipulations:

nobody from grand prize. they claim to try to help the community, but all they do is trash talk about how much everyone else sucks instead of trying to give out help or criticism in these situations, so they are not invited to any matches i am setting up.

if you consider yourself a "top 10" iin whatever class you main, please try to avoid playing that class. it isnt a lot of fun for everyone else when you are untouchable.

If I'm in a group of 3 or more, we usually just start effing around because it's not fun to wreck everybody.

Another great way to troll your own team is on grenade 3. Pick assault and get to fly 3 as fast as possible. Look for your own teammates to take jumppads and try to block them so they fall off. :lol:

I'm always willing to play privates. I love the intense try hard games but I dig these too. I can go support and just heal my team trying to tell them where to push or something.

you dont have to be a crap class, just dont play something that wont make your skill at the particular class the primary factor in what wins a game.

for example: i generally play tank in these matches. if i play gunner, the other team will generally get outslayed unless someone like miracle/deadeye are on the other team.

Id be up for these if my internet is working decent at the time . Just dont be surprised if i lag out once in a while . I like them laid back privates where ego's dont clash.

Whaddufug? I was on last night, no Privates, or was I just too late? Caught up to you for a few random pubs afterwards where you had no mic-ness going on. Might I add, that I kind of feel ridiculous knowing that regardless of how a match is going, or whether there are two Assaults constantly blitzing me playing as Gunner, that I will go at least even, and that you will charge into the enemies base and we shall win.

Either way, I'm going to be on tonight, and as Tom said, it would be nice to see some daily privates going, and to see the community grow in that way. Could be the saving grace of MNC if there's always accessable Privates going on.

Makes me wish there was a second Crossfire mode that they could title "Crossfire Pro" that would only allow one of each class to be played per team. As soon as a class is chosen, it would become unavailable to the rest of the team. This would be an amazing game mode for Uber to add to the game. Then, regardless of what community you are or are not a part of, you could always find that type of competitive match, even if you don't necessarily know everyone that ever plays MNC.
