Friend cannot see my pings, I can't see his?

He doesn't recieve any pings when I use the [G] button and the ones he sends I don't see either. We're not sharing an army but we are however on the same team. He does get notifications of stuff getting destroyed etc, but not pings. Any help on that?

it's a known bug, teammates pings are only visible when sharing armies

I noticed this too, this will be great when fixed
