This is actually two bugs: 1 - When entering an invalid password, the (correct) pop-up displays "Error connecting to UberNet...". Afterward, the "Connecting to UberNet" panel stays up, with the rest of the screen untouchable, indefinately. (Expected behavior: the "Connecting to UberNet" closes after informing the user that their username/password is invalid). 2 - The characters ".", ">", "`", and "~" cannot be entered into the username or password field. In the username field, the character "<" is displayed as a left-arrow. (The characters "`" and "~" open the debug panel. The characters "." and ">" simply don't show up in the password field). (Expected behavior: every character that even the most deranged password creating user wants should be enter-able into the username and password fields.) Addendum: Entering characters using alt codes (Alt-62 for ">") works fine. ">" displays as a right-arrow. This can be used as a work-around for bug #2. Further Addendum: Using Alt-codes, you guys support the entire extended-ascii! "╟─╜╒═╡" would be a valid username or password. Hot damn.
For point #2 we have Confirmed issues here, and here. Please vote them up if you are concerned about them being fixed ASAP --- For point #1 can I confirm this is the issue you are having?
