Free Agents - Redux

With this new tournament starting up, and teams being formed and reformed, I figured it was about time to start a new free agent thread. If you're looking for someone to fill out your roster, post. If you're looking to join someone's roster, post. Give your absolute best class, I will not list more than two. Talk yourself up if you feel like.

Don't sign up for teams if you're not going to have time to play.

I'm looking for a competitive team with players of similar skill level.

I consider myself good at every class except gunner and assassin.

my roles are as follows:

Assault: Pro Killer and lane harassment/ Anni and juice control
Tank: Bot Control and Pro Control
Sniper: HARASSMENT. Bots and Pros Alike.
Support: Good Turtle or Offensive or Team Medic. Your choice.

I am just looking for a strong team that needs to fill a position.

I'm a free agent (top 100 in crossfire $)(top 150 in kills)(top 100 in wins) can play anything but not the best sniper

Just figured I'd throw my name into the ring as someone who is a free agent and looking to get on a team for the league and tournament coming up. I play assassin and assault main and prefer to play one of those but am willing to play any spot needed on a team.

In order of skill, my classes :

Assassin - I am used to pushing bots, calling out pros and making it my job to kill every turrent on the map as soon as possible. I understand map control and am willing to do what I have to to ensure my team has the best chance of winning.

Assault - I just recently decided I wanted to be somewhat competent at another class so I picked this one up. Though I'm not the best, I would approximate my skill to be 4.5 kckzi's out of 10. Where 10 is being able to surgically separate gunners and supports from each other with a bomb from across the map and 1 is using my charge grapple as my main form of attack.

Gunner/Tank - I give a slight edge to the gunner just because but feel like I could play both competently enough but might be a bit hampered as a tank against some more competitive players. I do not claw yet because I prefer to get arthritis and carpal tunnel the old fashioned way, through years of typing up nonsensical posts on forums. I would be willing to learn if needed though.

Support - Only played the fat italian in a mainly defensive role but would be willing to learn to play him more offensively when needed to. I do know that attempting to shotgun anything in a competitive match is a no-no and am not a fan of things being spicy on my body.

Sniper - I have only ever played this class in matches where I know I am going against a group of people that aren't very skilled to try to even the odds a bit and make sure the game lasts longer. I really don't have the patience to shoot my own bots incessantly to kill assassins through proc damage and have even less patience trying to learn to quick scope effectively. You don't want me to snipe. I don't want me to snipe. But if I have to, I guess I would.


I know a lot of teams are full now but if anyone out there is looking to fill a spot on their roster or looking to make a new team with someone competent, aware of his surroundings and willing to do what he can to contribute to a team, please let me know. I really would love to get to play in the tournament/league and think I do a pretty good job at certain things and am willing to listen and learn about the ones I don't.

Well all the free agents can add me on XBL for now and if it comes down to within a short time or so we can form our own group, I'm completely willing to sort out positions and eve have try outs if necessary, I just want a team myself.

Might as well and put myself where i can.

I main as a Support, healing, pushing, turrenting, try to cover what ever the team is weak in. For offense, I go as an all rounder Assault. Still learning the kinks to that class.

I know how to use all classes rather effectively except for gunner.

Offensive minded Support. I know, I know, we're supposed to hide in our base and root for the team. I lprefer controlling forward positions, providing a base to pressure enemy teams from. GT: Immortal303. If you want me to "try out" for your clan, #1 you havent played with me, #2 get a life.

I am best with assault and support. I play most weekdays anytime from noon to midnight eastern.

Assault- overall pro slayer. I am pretty good with the grenade launcher. I can shoot pros and bots from long-range. And good MB destroyer.

Support- Hack it and leave it. Heal gun wielding. Plus I know how to handle myself when I get caught in a 1v1 battle with the other team.

I am working on tank and to be able to fill in a needed role.

Not to be a ****, but any decent team wouldn't take a player without some type of tryout.
I don't think I've ever played you or if I have you weren't memorable and I've played a lot.
Not everybody has played everybody and knows who everyone else is. Just sayin.

On topic, If one of the free agents played gunner then all the current free agents have enough people to make a team. Or even run two assaults. Worth a try I think.

so if we dont know whether you are good or not, give us some other reason to pick you over any other support here.

also: no. you are NOT supposed to sit in your base and heal in a competitive match.

Maybe I just don't take it as seriously as some of you. Im a solid support, I do the right things to help my team win. U need support, hit me up, u want me to jump through hoops for the "privilege" of playing on ur team, ive got better things to do. I understand teams wanting to try players out. I don't think I'm godlike or anything, I guess I just dont like the idea of being "evaluated" for support skillage.

there are no "hoops". people generally dont want you on their team if you are bad.
