After a period of time playing on the PAX system, be it offline or multiplayer, my framerate will suddenly nosedive. It's quite noticable during play, the whole game suddenly feels laggy. I've had this multiple times and it has always been on PAX.

Once this has happened it will affect every map. I can load Berg after this issue and I will be getting 30fps instead of the usual 60. My performance stays like this until I restart TITANS.

    I have attached my dxdiag.

Does tabbing out of the game fix it?

Could you post a PA log from when this occurs?

Alt-tab out of PA and check how much memory PA is using in task manager when it happens,
If there's a ram overload it could be pushing gamedata to the pagefile and causing slow everything.

I'll have a check next time. Have to be a memory leak if it is as I've got 32GB RAM.

I can confirm that Fps is lower late game compared to PA. This is seen in systems with 5-10 planets. I assume its the new effects who need some tweaking
