i was kinda skeptical if it worked or not because it was hard for me to tell the difference but after a month of not playing with them on i can safely say they were working like intended. I noticed now that i am unable to keep my aim on a target for an extended period of time (stay locked on) which also caused me to not really want to play gunner/assault as much. So anyone who also uses them im here to let you know that they are working its just hard to tell.

Can't play without them. Not cause they help me so much but cause it feels weird not using them.

originally i took them off so i could go to my friends house and play some games with him but my aim never got back to what it used to be after a month and a few days. Ill be putting them back on soon.

which ones do you use? I had tried them out for a couple matches on gunner while clawing and it was pretty difficult to get used to. They were just slightly too high for my comfort although I did eventually get used to it. Ended up using them for some PM's on gunner and I got destroyed. I might have a faulty controller, because the stick is allowing me precise control but was unable to make quick turns a high number of the times. I tested it a bunch after the PM and it was definitely slow turning quite a bit.

The reason I ask which ones is because I saw they make FPS Freek CQC or something, pretty sure it's close quarters combat. Those look like a perfect balance for me while still being able to claw.

I own the CQC. I won the regular pair in a contest and couldn't get used to them. But I did notice that the grip on the sticks didn't wear off. So i bought the smaller variants just for the grip and they haven't worn off 1 year later.

You will now have an asterisk by your name in the MNC Hall of Fame.

You should post a video of you clawing with your FPS freeks.

You might also have to adjust your sensitivity when you use them. I play on 3 and without the FPSfreeks that feels really fast and i have jerky aim. with them on it feels just right

Also i use the fpsfreeks on both joysticks.

Playinga pm right now and i instantly noticed the difference. I can stay locked on without jerking my aim around. However my bad habit of occasionally pressing the b during gunner fights is back.

I just tried with and without the cqc, I didn't notice a difference. But I also tried out the big ones again and I must say they made a drastic difference.

I find it's way easier to claw with a wired controller than a wireless.

Gunked what advantages do you notice using FPS freeks on the left thumb stick?

It feels weird having your thumbs at a different height. That is all there is to it.

I used them from 2009-2012, and only the right thumbstick from 2010-2012. Took them off and noticed no difference. It's just what you're used to, there's really no advantage in my opinion.

I don't consider hardware adjustments to be modding, only software. So, put a turbo button on there and it is a mod that is bannable. But extend a thumbstick, and I am ok with it.
Some games "modding" is actually the norm - every top tier fighting game player uses an arcade stick. Only a couple of people use game pads, and they almost always lose.

MLG even allows Scuf controllers (mappable paddles on the back of the controller).
