Hey everyone, I'm just wondering. Is my fps suspost to be stuck at 29 even when the graphics are low as possible? I have a ATI radeon 5450 1gb (I know its old STFU) a x6 3.0ghz and 6 gig of ram. Is this normal? If not is there a way to fix this?

A 5450 is a low end graphics card, so I don't think so. You could use the command line and type "setres 800x600". For me, that made it possible to put World Detail and Textures on max. The game will look a little pixelated, but worth it in my opinion.

Think of graphics cards as overworked artists. They have the job of drawing the frames you see at a very fast rate. The best cards are akin to Chinese sweatshops.

But in all seriousness, I'd probably go for the 6670 or better.

    1) Question is how much you're willing to spend.

    2)Depending on that:

Nvidia equivalents on the left, Radeon on the right
Discrete is a regular gfx card, Mobility are laptop ones (of no use to you)

    3) Can your PSU handle the card?
