If I were to host a competitive event on a Saturday in July, what time in UTC and date would be most convenient?
13:00 utc suits me. Can't say for sure what my movements are through July though so couldn't commit to a weekend just yet....
I usually find evenings more suitable Now that it is summer I think manny players (like me) would rather lay on the beach, take trips, do what needs to be done, hangout, drink and enjoy summer rather than play inside. I can only speak for myself though
Afternoon easier for me on the basis that I tend to prefer to spend my evening with my fiancee, have dinner, watch a film or go out for some drinks together. Last evening tournament I played kinda ruined my whole weekend as I did to well and it takes ages. I guess I'm in minority though.
follow the history of other tournaments and you should be fine. They are all hosted 1300 to 1800 utc as the general min/max limits.
