Auto login is tied to your IP. You'll have to relogin if your IP changes. That's why it's an issue on your mobile and not your desktop.
DHCP on your local network maybe reassigning your IP if your signal drop out for a second. I have this happen ocasionally too on my 3g modem.
I am also always logged out , also on my laptop at my girlsfriend place, at the most it remembers me if I return back to this website when I haven't shut down my pc. Also I had to login with google chome because in windows internet explorer I am unable to write in the comment fields (they are greyed out)
IE11 is known to have an issue with Xenforo forums, the software our forums use. Hence the break in IE. The password being remembered may be a local issue, if your IP address is changing frequently.
Yeah when you have a 24h reset connection like most people have at least here in germany it is quite annoying. Yey for using a server with a static IP as a proxy for this page. I have not had to login for months.
Firefox on Android also has an issue where after a new line character anything else I type is utter garbage.
