Yeah yeah. I know I just joined an all but I thought it would be appropriate to dedicate a thread to improving functions/features/etc. of the forum. Therefore, post it up. The only thing I can suggest at the moment, through my observations, is that there should be a new rule of no advertising added to the rules. I have not seen anything of the sort yet but it would just generally be a good idea to add it. I will be sure to post any more ideas I come upon. EDIT: I would appreciate bbcode. It is useful for titles and it feels odd for a signature to be left aligned.
Why should people be able to use this site to advertise their youtube/personal site/whatnot? It is a problem on another forum I am on where people just sign up to say, "Watch my montage!" or "Check out my kewl new site guys." The real question is, Why should advertising be allowed?
I really don't see the big deal. Just don't click on it. Why shouldn't people be allowed to advertise? It's harmless and is a great why to find other alike communities without sifting through of bunch of random sites.
It can be bothersome but I do agree it is nice to find other communities. DeathStretch has made a valid point. Revised suggestion; There should be a rule where you cannot advertise your personal youtube channel.
Well I agree with the "youtube channel" there are also alot of great players who make MNC class-specific strategy videos such as the zYn group. But yea a thread like "Check out my youtube channel" should have some "rules."
I think you should be able to share your Youtube channel. Youtube is a tool that makes communities stronger. The only advertising that is done if people posted thier Youtube channel would be that for UBER and their MNC game. If people spend 100's of dollars on hardware to make a MNC video, they would want people to see it. Just because you have a pet peeve about it, do not ruin the fun for the rest of us who wish to share. What do you want us to stop next? "Advertising" our X-Box gamer tag?
Well, it was just a suggestion. I can see that this community would rather watch videos than take them as a nuisance.
