Exactly why i posted the link, so people can see how the armour update worked out. Because dont forget we are having a title update soon/ish so dont you wanna know what could be in the list of patches? I dont own the pc version but i still read to see what updates they get, how they play compared to 360 an all that crap.
It appears that someone is upset about gold armor not being worth it anymore from that thread. I could be wrong though. I personally run ROF/Armor/Speed. Having an excuse to bump speed up to silver and a new bronze sounds more like a relief to me. If this update comes to the 360, I'd welcome it. I rarely see an assassin without gold armor and it's speed if not armor. I've seen lots of new players using assassin with gold armor and still getting maybe less than 5 kills with three times that amount in deaths, if not more. I think that if Armor is nerfed on the assassin, maybe some of the scrubby playing might go away in favor of getting better or picking up a new class. Regardless of what happens, it'll just make my 2500 assassin kill that much closer if the 360 updates this way.
eh. i would just run skill, rof, clip or regen if armour isnt as viable as i need it to be. other people will have the same problem, so meh.
If we're just straight 75 hp lighter, then it's a whole new ball game. Turret destroying power is pretty much gone. I'd probably switch to gold clip size or something. Get really really good with the shuriken launcher.
Just an fyi evading with a mouse and keyboard is extremely easy thus making surviving with high mobility too easy. I highly doubt this will be coming to the 360.
[NOTE]This is all on the PC side of MNC On the PC side, the really good assassins aren't even bothering with armor Assassin still has 300 base health and turret destruction hasn't changed one bit They'll either run in, smoke it and slash away(if juiced) or will side in some far off spot, cloak, fire, cloak at reload, fire again Lately it's been almost impossible to take down an assassin because of the high mobility. Even if you manage to catch one, they'll either smokejump and be gone or just run like hell and be gone before you can do lethal damage, usually before you can even do half damage. Also, on the off chance you're within grapple range, the smokebomb defeats it One friend won't run any class but Tank. Not because he likes it best, but because Tank and Gunner are the only classes that can survive the lungegrapple
Assassins can be grappled from smokebomb animation. It eats their smokebomb, and you hit them afterwards. Why am I the only one that has luck with assassin slaying on pc?
Dunno what to tell ya, every time I try to grapple an assassin that started the smoke they get away scot free and usually that assassin has a higher ping than I, sometimes as little as 20 more
I've played Sin quite a bit since the nerf, and against a team of average players, the Sin is exceptionally good, but against an experienced team, little tricks do not generally work and the lack of armor shows. I can honestly say that it is no longer viable for use against above average teams.
I dont understand, i thought they just took 75 health from the assassin so making gold armour a must even though myself and many use it but from the comments in here it sounds like they took 75 health from the armour, can anyone clarify?
In the PC update, Armor is reduced for the Medium/Light classes This means only Gunner/Tank get the full 100/200/300, everyone else got 75/150/225
