what would have to change in order to have you play competitively?

if you have no intent on playing competitive mnc, dont bother posting here, your comment will be ignored. this is strictly for people who show interest but have something holding them back.

And a competitively skiled team. If the question is about playing in the comp. level privates then I want to know that someone is making teams that will have balance. I don't really want to get invited to private pub stomps. Snarf in the dark hit it pretty well in Chron's thread.

And here's where the needle starts skipping... I want a play book that doesn't include gunner riding a support like a my little pony. Once someone can break that paradigm I'm in. Gunner sucks.

The availability of the rest of my team stops me - 2 in the US & the rest in the EU so that doesn't help. Also working a 60 hr week doesn't help either so I guess I'm as much to blame. If any comp. matches were on Saturday between 10am - midnight or Sunday 10am - 7pm GMT then I could play...even though I suck...or a scented midget correctly noted I'm a 'F****** Noob!'

to clarify:

i am referring to the random-team privates that chron1cle hosts from time to time, not a full blown competitive team.

I'd simply have to be better at the game :shrug:

get in on them some time. being able to do your job and work with your team is much more important than raw skill.

I guess I qualify for this as I've only played 10 or so privates? There have been two problems I've had so far in getting to play (more) competitively :

1.)I'm not BFFs with anyone in the competitive community yet. I don't have that "in" that a lot of folks in that group do so I don't get to have that back and forth about the game that a lot of people do. I'm not saying it's a clique at all, more that I haven't made that attempt to get more actively involved, though I'm not sure how else to do so other than to spam people who play a lot of privates with friend requests and that just seems like it'd be annoying like I'm some sort of groupie.

2.)I feel like any progress you may make in privates is hugely overshadowed if you can't beat the best. Most of us(99.9%), especially when we are first starting can't compete with the best team or players in MNC yet. It would be nice to know there was still some progress being made though regardless of that. I'm not necessarily saying I need positive reinforcement like I'm a child but more that it would be nice to see that I'm getting somewhere and that it's not an infinite treadmill with no end. I'm not sure how to remedy this and I don't want to make it seem like I want to be patronized by anyone. Not in the least.

Hopefully that makes some sense. I'd rather post this on teg because i feel like there would be better discussion there but having it here seems like more folks who don't play at all might see it.
