Had quite a bit of fun this weekend. I love the fixed artillery cannons. AI was relentless with the air units, unless it bugged out on the terrain. Disconnects loading, mid game, & near end game were a bit annoying. Nuke goes off and I'd get disconnected, but hey...it's still relatively early in development. Took some getting used to unit builds and building functions, but I think I have the hang of it. The Chrono vision has to be one of the best aspects of the game in that you can learn quickly what your opponents did better than you. And then there's the metal nodes. Having learned the ctrl-N from another player, I would say visibility isn't as much of a factor. But it's damn annoying that there is no guarantee that your start position will have more than one node. I had several games were the best course of action was to actually walk 1/4 of the planet away to a better spot with 3-4 nodes in proximity because my initial one was barren and the middle of nowhere in relation to additional nodes. Then there were the times were I had 5-6 nodes, but only 2 would be usable due to terrain edges, mountains, or other mesh collisions preventing extractors from being built on them. Also a small request. A building implosion/reclamation button. there were several cases where I would have prefered to remove one of my buildings to make room for an upgrade or larger building and was unable to do so. You can't even attack and damage your own buildings deliberately.
