First team of good players versus each other wow.

I had to share this. I just finished a good set of 3 rounds.First time i played team versus team or good players versus good players. Kinda scared of being on a team in the tournament. Everyone on the forums has a lot of skill. No one went over 24 kills. There was no pub stomping each victory came from hard earned strategy bot pushing pro killing. Proper grappling bomb placement. Turret builds at last second. I wasn't impressed before but I am now Props to the team i played against. Sham/Kczi/Ace/Liberty forgot the other versus me/Manuso/Tiger/Ninja Wallace/ forgot the other also. Props to all of you.

Isnt that much more fun than running through pubs, take notes people.

Yes, actual competition is more fun than facerolling people (or getting facerolled.)

It actualy would be news to this community, since it seems a fair amount dont want to play a competetive match.

It's not that we don't "want to" we'd rather not simply based on the attitude of a select few teams/players.

Competitive gaming isn't the end all be all.

its called a mute button, and believe it or not in game we actually are quite nice, ask destiny. If you hate us too much just talk to Pu5h, he would be more than happy to lick your special parts.

And to the competetive gaming thing clearly I dont invest my life into this game, we are on a gaming site, this is how i enjoy playing a game, quit trying to act like JC.

This wasn't a competitive match, it was essentially just a scrim for fun. It's just that matches are a lot better when you're playing with people around your skill level then with a bunch of randoms who don't know what they're doing. Also, the community is large enough that there's several points throughout the day that anyone who really wants to could get 10-12 solid players in a private if they wanted to play some matches. JackTrips getting a full game of Sumo going in about five minutes just recently is a prime example of that.

tl;dr, I think more people should play privates (or even things like splitting teams in pubs) because they're really a whole lot of fun.

Yeah, it's just a shame that sometimes, people like myself, don't seem to know enough people that are online and have to surf through pub games to either get stomped or do some stomping.

I don't get the hate for GP really. Sure Shammas dicks around on the forum, but every member I've run into in the game seems fine.

Send requests out to forum people. Most of us will take friend requests, and there's a bunch of threads and such with gamertags and people looking for others to play with.

You need to message people. I've done that and gotten in plenty of games with good people.
