On my way to work but I wanted to ask really quick: What effects the "burn" effect duration from assualt's bombs and the tank's jet gun/blossom? Do they all have the same burn duration? Do different classes burn for different times? I swear it seems like some foes stay on fire for 2 seconds and some burn for around 5. When hitting someone multiple times with the jet gun, does it refresh the burn effect duration if they were already burning when hit the second time? IE: I burn an assassin, then burn her 1 second again while she is still on fire. Does the burn duration reset from the second burn, or simply extinguish when the original burn effect expires?
I'd like to piggyback a question: When "shooting" at an enemy pro with the jet gun, is there a certain amount of time, or a certain distance you have to be in, in order to light them on fire with the jet gun? There have been times where I have been hitting someone with the jet gun at its maximum range, and it doesn't seem to be lighting them on fire. Just wanted to see if this is a game mechanic or lag.
So the Jetgun always and instantly lights someone on fire if you hit them with it? The reason I'm confused is that "shield" thing came up on the other pro, the thing that usually lets you know that you are hitting them, but I wasn't lighting them up.
The best way to test it is in a Local Crossfire match. I don't know about instantly setting them on fire though. I think that matters how close they are to the Jetgun.
I'm not certain, but could burn time be related to health recovery? I swear my Assassin build with the gold health recovery stops burning pretty fast.
Not really. You gain juice from damage taken while taunting. Might not be much but hey, every little helps.
I'd also like to piggypack on the question: When playing as a support and there is another support in the vicinity, is it dangerous to cross the hurt/heal gun streams?
