Some thoughts, feedback on the overall experience - While in the game the pace, action, controlled-chaos feels pretty good. But I get really frustrated outside of the actual game play. The waiting to get in a game kills me... and once a game ends to have to watch multiple count downs to get into the next game kills me. And that experience doesn't match the frantic pace of the gameplay... so I get turned off by the game. It breaks down for me there and an overall good experience. Allow me to elaborate. The slow waiting to get into a game... 60 secs, sometimes 50 secs with a full board of players ready to go, takes away from the fast, quick, fun game play that happens next. It just feels like I would enjoy this game more if getting in/out of games was not just "faster" but "quicker". Difference between waiting 15 secs and 60 secs for the game to start is waiting years in gamer time. And if the game has a full board of players...can the game just start? Then coming out of a game there is a count down to get back to the player lobby. I've come out of games where no one has dropped and it kicks us back to the player lobby, then another 60 sec count down. Would it be possible just to load the next map if no one drops... the teams are ready to go at it again. For me, this is a great, sit down and run'gun'fun game...when I have just 20 minutes to enjoy some gaming. But the waiting breaks don't make it "quick" to get into the gameplay. And I get frustrated to keep playing because of it.
my solution to that is to check out what highlights and career acheivements and protags i've gotten while the timer to start is going. i tweak my classes, see how many head shots i've gotten, or how many i need to get for the next tier ect.
I really wish you could keep reading the previous game's stats while waiting for the new one to start. That would help me with the wait. It was one of my biggest problems with Call of Duty 4, and it's a big problem here too.
