I don't know if this is the correct place to post this, I lurked around a bit but couldn't find the "support forum". I got the beta invite three days ago, and my account is activated and ready. However, when I click the link to download the mac client downloader the download never starts and safari informs me that I don't have clearance to access the file. I tried in Chrome too, with identical outcome. I can't see any other threads about this problem so I'm inclined to believe that something is up here on my end and not on Uber's. Any advice to help my clear this up would be much appreciated!
This might happen if you use any kind of proxy server: PA#1340 If you're really use proxy server make sure it's not show X-Forwarded-For in HTTP headers or you won't able to download anything from Uber store CDN.
