Just brought the game, and when loading the game up in steam it fails to load, anybody got any ideas?
You have access to the Alpha forum, but we (Uber and the community) need more information if you need help. OS? System? Graphics card? That sort of thing.
Hi, I too, am having the same issue. Just purchased the game on Steam and it fails to load. I have read your tips on the Steam forum, tried everything, but it still won't load. Just comes up with an error message: "LoadLibrary failed with error 126: The specific module could not be found." I have updated graphics and sound drivers (as of yesterday), have added ports 9000-9032 on my router, have newest DirectX installed (v11). I am running Windows 8 64-bit on an iMac (2012) through Boot Camp. hanac - Your graphics drivers are nearly a year old and could be upgraded, but I don't think that's causing the issue you're experiencing.
Thanks it's working now! I just ran the actual game file as administrator instead of running it through Steam. Said the DirectX9.0 file was missing so I just re-downloaded DirectX runtime from Microsoft. Ran the game as administrator again and worked fine now to wait for a match... Sigh....
