I frequently suffer from the Failed to Join game message and I was wondering why this is. None of my other games suffer from strange online behaviour so I doubt it is my router. Does anyone know of a fix?
Currently I can't join a single game and I'm thinking it's because the servers can't handle the sale traffic. The process just goes Login accepted -> Connection to Server Lost or just Failed to Join Game.
Yeah, super PA sale, 66% off. It's already become top selling RTS and top selling Early Access title.
I think it's pretty rubbish that the servers mess up every time we get a boost in population. It just makes people leave and you would think Uber would invest in better servers if they want to retain any of the players they gain in these sales.
True that... All the players they gain with this weekend sale are gone right away again as the game is just not working at the moment..
^^ Aye, got the game with steam sale as well. i was skeptical at first. but managed to play a few games (when it wasn't playing up with "Failed to launch" etc). The game is really well, and if you think about it. Steam Sale will obviously overload the server. Also it's not a full release so obviously the impact is being calculated. Now with this boost sale i'm sure uber entertainment will be have a "Oh ****" moment like most developers will. Been in many many games during Alpha/Beta (Not yet gamma though ).
