Its just freaking awesome, i have been addicted for the past few nights and its caused me to miss a little bit of sleep. Albion has never been so fun, the spell weaving and custom weapons are ******* sick! I am a good character to start(always said its harder to play good in fable) The things you do in the game effect the weapons given to your hero. Money, ownership of buildings, playing co-op with other heros, Killing creatures, and yes kicking chickens have all molded my weaponry. I would like to give this game a 9/10. Has high replay value and the co-op can cause hours of fun without a second thought. Must Rent A Great Buy If you have any questions about this game feel free to ask me and ill do my best to help clear up confusion. Im not one to really write a game review i just wanted to say this game is great and i would love to chat it up with you all in the community
I've been playing the game with Enigma the last couple days, fun stuff. I'd just warn you, if you plan on being a good king, save up about 8.5 million gold before you take the boat. You'll know which boat i'm talking about. My first save was ruined because I didn't have much money saved up.
Did they ruin the magic system again? Fable 2 ruined the magic for melee guys. I was a fan of Fable from the start and was disappointed that Fable 2 was so different from Fable 1, Didn't buy Fable 3 because of that and will probably check it out when it goes cheap.
Fable 3 is the best in the series, IMO. However, there are still some missed opportunities in this game. The lack of a minimap drives me crazy, and I dont know if its just me, but the enemies are stronger and more numerous than in previous entries. I've found myself falling back on Vortex+Lightning spells in order to clear out the literal HORDES of enemies I am facing. However, its fun, its interesting, its differently the same.
I quite loved the magic in Fable 2, Fable 3's magic is very similar. Yeah there should certainly be a minimap. One thing I really dont' enjoy is the weapon morphing. It's completely random. You can't really influence how your weapon morphs, the game just decides on its own. I went around killing wolves for like 2 hours, doing nothing but cutting up wolves, what weapon morph do I get? "The hilt of your weapon has changed because of how much time you spent with other heroes." I played with a friend for maybe 10 minutes. It still looks okay, but it really annoyed me. I have some gripes with the king portion of the game, but that would be spoilers, so.. yeah. Just make sure that if you want to keep all your promises and still get a good ending, you need to save up about 8.5 million gold. Also, the enemies are certainly harder and more numerous, but at the same time the spells are somewhat more powerful, and weaving makes for plenty of overpowered combinations. Oh! And if you REALLY want to win the game with just magic, combine Shock and Fire.
I love it. Can't stop playing. Halo Reach is in the drawer now. My single player game is Fable and then Multiplayer is MNC.
This is by far the best fable everything seems a bit more fluent which is what they told us. What they didn't say is" oh btw your weapons morphs randomly when you level up and its the weakest weapon in the game". The minimap. Sucks yet i love it! Custumization is great in this. Wings are stupid just sayin, and talking to people is like a cheap rip off of the sims.... overall i love the game no regrets just some things to gripe about
Because of the glitch, so does EVERYONE else. I see people on Ebay selling 20m gold for Fable 3 ... its funny.
Huh. There's a glitch? I made all my money the hard way. Buying all the real-estate in the game and leaving my xbox on while I was at work. =P
This, I had to freaking make a new save blind playthroughs stink! But overall I'd have to give this game a 8 out of 10 it has great visuals and fighting mechanics are solid and the first part of the story is awsome but the second part when you are ruler just seemed mediocre, lackluster to me. I guess it was because of Peter's overhype of that aspect.
