Is it something we should make possible? I wish to reclaim all your buildings especially with my orbital fabbers. It's already possible but it's micro intensive.
If nanolathe can just fall from orbit or fly up from the surface into orbit, I don't see why they build launchers. Isn't that like breaking open a window, to unlock a door, climb out the window, and just stroll in through the door?
area everything, area anything. I thought area nukes were already in but they're not. Oh and about orbital. I find it ridiculous that orbital and land can interact this way. It's unnatural. why the heck do you need to rocket stuff into space if any amount of ground engies can assist one orbital fabber. I say cut all ties between the two, except in the case of orbital engies building gates. (at least until this gets into the game : https://forums.uberent.com/threads/new-unit-suggestions.50715/page-10#post-897154)
Erm.. You can area reclaim, can't you? I believe I do it quite often with combat fabs because of their immense dps.
Astraeus. Float to orbit with the power of zen. ...It just has to get its *** booted to the Air 2.0 layer first.
Yes, there is an area reclaim. I cannot confirm though that are reclaim destroys live enemy buildings or units.
areacommand reclaiming ... yes but for wrecks and stuff like rocks and trees ... offensive reclaiming would be something i would like to see for a specialised unit ... along the lines of a vanguardfabber
guys why are we worried about reclaiming things on the planet from orbit... lets talk about building a metal planet with orbital units that when done will orbit your planet? or can even be fought over in orbital while you build it xD
Gives me the idea for an orbital damage unit, "acid rain", where an orbital unit sprays the area below it in destructive nanobots programmed only to break down and not build.
