I would like to start off saying that I love this game, though when I play it I find that my eyes become incredibly strained. After just one round I have to end up taking a short break to rest my eyes because they become so dry and bloodshot. I'm a bit confused about this since I don't have this problem with any other games that I play, and I play a lot.

I'm not blaming the game or anything here, since this is clearly a personal problem, the main purpose of this thread is simply to ask if anybody else experiences this problem. I'm just wondering if I'm alone on this one ;)

Force yourself to blink, often; other than that I can't say I know the problem (only if I don't wear my glasses while playing)

It's either the single cell shading or the way the game autofocuses. I get eyestrain from this game also, but other games have never done it to me.

I wear contact lenses, and often have trouble with dry eyes after any kind of screen time. MNC is no worse than the rest, IMO.

I have had headaches after playing for an hour or two but it's mostly caused by concentration, eye strain might be related too.

It's probably some graphical effect, not commonly used in games.

Yeah my eyes get strained after about 2 hours of looking at any screen, whether its a 14" CRT monitor or a 80" HDTV. I talked to my doctor about it and he said its pretty normal and just recommended taking half hour breaks whenever I feel it coming on (but I find 15 minutes is normally enough for me).

seems to do about the same eye strain as any other video game to me.
