    Hi guys,

So I'm experiencing an extreme slowdown that looks like I'm not getting any hardware acceleration at all (the menu is barely navigable, about 2-3 fps, sound cutting in intermittently) and have tried a few things:

    - verified the integrity through my steam library
    - cleaned up the registry
    - manually installed/repaired the redistributables
    - reinstalled ATI drivers from ATI
    - rolled back my ATI drivers (Radeon 5570) from 10.11 to 10.8
    - disabled my second monitor
    - installed updated drivers using steam's driver update

I've spent more than a few hours at this and am kind of at a loss for ideas, is there anything else critical I should be trying? I just got the four pack for some coworkers and one of the other guys has problems as well, so we're batting .500 :). I think my problem sounds unique from trolling the forums here and on steam, so I've attached a dxdiag and logfile.

    Cheers!

Finally solved my own problem... namely, I'm an idiot. I have the directx sdk installed, and was running in debug instead of release mode! Should have thought of that sooner.
