Explosions/Battles seen from space

This is my example made by Garsondee

As you can see this planet is been fought for intensively resulting in amazing flashes and red glows seen from space.

Will Planetary Annihilation have something like this?
Imagine your homeplanet been invaded and fight non stop for 5 hours, then you go to your moon base and you see you planet burn and see all the battles going on!

It would really show you the scale on which battles occur on the planetary surface :mrgreen:

Imagine the spaceships as the orbital platforms raining down death, and the explosions seen from the moon.

Well, the first picture just looks like a volcanic world with an unusually clean atmosphere. But anyway, do understand that the individual planets aren't going to be to scale with the units. Most undoubtedly you're going to see explosions from space, much the same as you can see them when zoomed out on the strategic view in Supreme Commander.
